INGREDIENTS
Seafood
- 🐚 250g clams (purged)
Vegetables
- 🥬 150g daikon, peeled and sliced
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasoning
- 1 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 200ml water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tsp mirin
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
STEPS
Peel and slice the daikon into bite-sized pieces.
In a frying pan, bring water and dashi powder to a boil. Add the daikon and cook until translucent.
Add clams and seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, soy sauce). Cover and simmer on medium heat for 3 minutes until clam shells open.
Serve in a dish and garnish with chopped green onion.
