INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 200g minced horse mackerel
Cheese / Dairy
- 150g firm tofu
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, minced
- 10 shiso leaves
Condiments
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp miso
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- Ponzu soy sauce, as needed
STEPS
Finely chop the horse mackerel and mince it.
Mince the onion and cut 6 shiso leaves into thin strips.
In a bowl, mix horse mackerel, onion, shiso leaves, tofu, ginger, miso, and potato starch thoroughly.
Divide the mixture into 4 portions, shape into patties, and wrap each with a shiso leaf.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the patties until browned.
Flip the patties, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. Serve with ponzu soy sauce.
